After the defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Los Angeles Lakers held a fourth home game tonight (Sunday through Monday) out of a streak of five of those and recovered with a 106: 114 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. The Yellow-Purples, who again missed the injured LeBron James, went up to a 6: 8 balance, while the visitors went down to a negative 9: 4 balance with a second straight loss.

The game was tight for the most part, but the Lakers maintained a small advantage and at the beginning of the fourth quarter even led by a double-digit 79:90 advantage. The final quarter was completely different and the Spurs took a bite out of the gap until just over two minutes before the end Jonathon Marie shrank to just 105: 103. Frank Vogel’s players came back great from the timeout with a 0: 7 run, Caldon Johnson buried a sixth three in the game and set a personal career record, but it was not enough and in the end – 106: 114 for the hosts.
