It will be a place of aggregation, shelter and warmth, the aim is to create a team of young people who are passionate about the mountains. It will be our high mountain home, we will offer local and genuine dishes and our strong point will be the super breakfast, to allow our hikers and mountaineers to face their destinations in top shape. But we will not be a hotel, the refuge must remain what it is: a refuge. We are ready to welcome future guests, hikers and mountaineers. A hot dish is never denied to anyone, in the mountains there are no timetables”. Expected opening mid-June.

Ruggero Samaden, agricultural expert, works as a technician in the agricultural/livestock sector for the autonomous province of Trento and on weekends and holidays at the Sette Selle refuge. Member of the Alpine Rescue Team, he spends most of his free time in the mountains, running and climbing in summer and ski mountaineering in winter. He too works at the Sette Selle refuge on weekends and holidays. “Our objective in terms of tourist attendance is to seek a balance with the surrounding environment and the unique characteristics of the structure, maintaining a high standard of service quality. We will therefore not try to increase attendance in the month of August, but rather, through all the initiatives proposed previously, we will aim to give more continuity during the year by inserting various activities in the ’emptiest’ periods”. CARE’ ALTO REFUGE

Its dominant position and altitude make it a panoramic point of great interest, with a splendid view, to the east, towards the Brenta Dolomites. Back because I go back to when I was younger with different experiences in the refuge and forward because I take on a new responsibility.
