A member of the media team of Brazilian Neymar da Silva, the Saudi Al Hilal striker, revealed his final position on being with the leader after he suffered an injury.
Neymar suffered a muscle injury during Al-Hilal’s match against Iranian Esteghlal, which was held in the fourth round of the league stage of the AFC Champions League for the Elite, and Al-Zaeem won it by three clean goals.
Dai Crespo, a member of Neymar’s media team, said in statements to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiah that Neymar will continue with Al-Hilal until the end of his contract.
Crespo explained that everything that was said about Neymar’s departure from Al Hilal next January is incorrect and false news, stressing that the player will continue with his current team until the end of his contract.
Al-Hilal had announced in an official statement that the tests that Neymar underwent confirmed that he had suffered a tear in the posterior muscle, and that he would undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program extending for a period of between 4 to 6 weeks.
Press reports stated earlier that Al Hilal management began moving to accelerate the departure of the Brazilian striker, as a search is currently underway for a suitable replacement.
