“In Italy it is necessary to review the governance of the drug, without tying it to political ideologies but with the awareness that research is always faster than political decisions”. This was stated by Maria Rizzotti, senator of Forza Italia and vice president of the Hygiene and Health Commission, speaking at the webinar “New strategies for the fight against lung cancer”, promoted by The European House Ambrosetti with the non-conditioning contribution of Amgen.
“The dramatic thing – added Rizzotti – is that behind the political decisions there are tens of thousands of citizens who may know about a drug that can save their life but which is not approved, and this is a problem; I appeal to Parliament to review the governance of the drug, it is an invitation that I make as a doctor ”.
