The lineup for this year’s edition of Westway LAB is closed and there are 23 concerts scheduled for different spaces in the city of Guimarães, taking place between the 10th and 13th of April.
The main shows of the festival are scheduled for the various rooms included in the Vila Flor Cultural Center. In the first two days, the focus is on showcasing the results achieved during the artistic residency season, which brings together national and international artists in a creative context. The 2024 partnerships consist of Phaser + Debdepan, Metamito + Ivan Shopov, Vile Karimi + Haizea Huegun and Mafalda + Zoe Berman and all of them will have CCVF’s Café Concerto as their stage. Entries are free.
Concerts in their more traditional format take place on the last two days of Westway LAB. Riça, Capicua, Conference Inferno, Unsafe Space Garden, Bardino and Uto are the names that join the already announced Luís Severo, Silly, Júlia Mestre and NewDad in the main program scheduled for the CCVF. Exclusive to the final day of the event is the spread of live music to other places in Guimarães through the City Showcases, which throughout the afternoon of April 13th serve as a showcase for 9 performances, led by people like Sónia Trópicos, Melquiades, JP Coimbra or Peace.
Tickets for both days (12 e 13) festival fees cost between 20 euros each, with the possibility of some discounts being applied. O general pass which guarantees entry on both days costs 35 euros.
