Explaining the matter, Mamata Shankar said, ‘Nowadays people who wear sarees like that for no reason, then get angry when people say something. On the contrary, girls are being put down. We girls are putting girls down. I am against it. We have a place of modesty, where men will respect us. From where will men give respect, if I have no self-respect.’
