Announced by himself last week, the first show by the English comedian Ricky Gervais in Portugal will take place on October 28 at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon. Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 31st, and it’s already known how much the cheapest ones will cost.
To BLITZ, Ritmos & Blues, promoter of the show, said that tickets will cost “from 40 euros”.
Author of cult series such as “The Office”, “Extras” or “After Life”, Ricky Gervais will thus bring to Portugal the show he called “Armageddon”. In 2024, it should give rise to a Netflix series.
This show follows “Ricky Gervais: SuperNature”, which generated controversy due to some jokes, considered transphobic. On Netflix, it became one of the most viewed comedy shows ever on the streaming platform.
“Armageddon” is the sixth world tour by Ricky Gervais, a comedian awarded at the Golden Globes or Emmys and distinguished in the Guinness Book of Records.
