Jeddah: Four people were killed and two others were injured in a road accident on Khunfuda – Sabat Aljara road before dawn on Saturday. The tragedy occurred when two cars collided head-on.
All four died instantly. It is reported that the injuries are not minor. Meanwhile, details about the dead and injured are yet to be known. As soon as the information was received, ambulances and traffic rescue units reached the spot. The bodies were shifted to Khunfuda Hospital Mortuary.
The place where the accident took place is a nightmare for locals and travelers alike. Villagers say that this is not the first incident. The local paper said that means of slowing down vehicles are essential there. Khunfuda is about 350 km south of Jeddah.
