Kanchipuram: Road widening work is underway from Kanchipuram-Vandavasi road to Tiruparuthikunram. Motorists report that the work has been completed without the removal of the electric pole on the road. The work of widening the road from Kanchipuram-Vandavasi road to Tiruparuthikunram started last month. Currently, most of the work has been completed. During the expansion of the road, some of the electric poles on the road were not removed, so the motorists said that they have to move with fear.
Regarding this, the motorists said: The road is being widened so it is convenient for traffic. Before starting the work, the electric pole on the road should have been removed and planted on the side of the road. The road work has also been completed at that place. Accidents happen if the motorists are careless in that area. They said that the concerned department should take action to remove the electric pole from the road.
