Ten things you did not know about Kate Middleton
1. She lived as a child in Jordan, in the capital city of Amman. Her father worked for British Airways and the family relocated to the Arab country, but eventually returned to England.
2. The Duchess’s style does not come from nowhere, she used to work as a proprietor at Jigsaw, a well-known British fashion company.
3. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art history, which she studied at St. Andrews University, where she met Prince William.
4. This is a particularly athletic duchess: From a young age, Kate especially loved sports classes, and specialized in tennis, and as a demanding person. In high school she competed in high jump, and in university she competed in hockey.
5. Kate also loves to take pictures, she even specialized in the matter when she worked in the Middletons’ family business – a chain for costume and party accessories.

6. Kate’s daily job is to represent the British Kingdom inside and outside England. The Duchess has chosen to support areas close to her heart, including the National Portrait Gallery, anti-addiction activities, and support for a children’s hospice located in the East of England.
7. Kate does not like tights. According to royal law, the Duchess must wear tights at every public appearance, but Kate has often been seen breaking the law. Although Megan Merkel did the same as Duchess, Queen Elizabeth rebuked Kate whenever she exposed her legs, because she would be the Queen and Megan would not.
8. Despite the disagreements, Queen Elizabeth decided to show her intense affection when she chose to award her the Diamond Jubilee Medal of Queen Elizabeth II.
