Kyiv: Russia has reportedly deployed mercenaries to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is leading a strong Ukrainian resistance against Russia. Russia has reportedly deployed 400 mercenaries in Ukraine. The group reportedly arrived in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, five weeks ago from Africa. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s private security team, Russia’s Wagner Group, is said to be behind the attack.

The Ukrainian government has been banning Kiev since Saturday morning following reports that the group had entered Kiev. A 36-hour curfew was declared. It was also to capture Russian mercenaries. The rupee had lost 14 per cent to 94.60 against the dollar in early trade on Friday. The value of the rupee has risen with the rise in interest rates. The ruble had fallen to 120 against the dollar in the previous session against the central bank. The ruble is currently trading at 106 against the euro. The rupee was trading at 0.72 against the Indian rupee.
