Estimates suggest that there are at least 1.8 million rats in New York. The mayor is looking for a worker to eliminate them. The nominee should prepare plans for eradication of rat infestation in the city. Mayor Eric Adams says anyone with experience in project management or urban planning is eligible to apply.
The mayor says that the fight against rats is on the same list as the fight against crime and inequality, and that only when they are gone can people live in peace in the city. Many people have already applied for the job.
