The Scottish Government is reportedly providing money to young people and their families who are preparing to immigrate to some of the less populated remote Scottish Islands. It is estimated that the Scottish government will now provide 50,000 50,000, or about Rs 48.8 lakh, to families migrating to the islands. The government has taken such a step to address the declining population of the Scottish Islands.

The government has decided to give 100 such receptions to 100 people till 2026 as part of its plan. The Scottish Islands are one of the most beautiful islands in the world. This includes the beautiful Scottish Islands, such as the Isle of Sky and Orkney. Currently there are very few residents here.
There are few job opportunities in these islands that attract young people. Therefore, the government is implementing the new scheme with the aim of addressing this shortfall and encouraging young people to migrate.
As part of the plan, the government will issue bonds worth 50,000 50,000 each to 100 people migrating to the islands. The total expected cost is around 5 5 million. The Scottish Government has reportedly begun accepting applications for the new project. It is reported that a family from Ecuador has already expressed interest in being part of the project.

“The declining population is one of the biggest threats to the island’s community,” said SNP MSP Alastair Allen for the West Indies. He added that any action taken to prevent the declining population on the islands should be encouraged. Allen said the bonds will help people prepare for the facilities they need to stay on the island longer.

At the same time, some welcome the government’s move, while others criticize it. They argue that this approach will not be effective in tackling the island’s long-term population problem.
They point out that there are many reasons why people are kept away from the islands. Another drawback is the lack of a broadband connection. All of these factors are causing people to avoid the islands.
