If you are a WhatsApp user, sometimes you have to share the screen during video calling. For this you need to download another app. But now this will not have to be done, because now the facility of in-app screen sharing is being provided to WhatsApp users. This feature is available for mobile and desktop versions of the app.
Facility to share screen like this will be available
- Download the latest WhatsApp version of the device i.e. phone or PC.
- After this, screen sharing will be available only during the ongoing video call.
- It works during one-on-one and group video calling.
- After this make a personal or group video call with a contact.
- After this select screen share option.
Note – Privacy may be an issue during screen sharing, so anyone can take a screenshot during calling.
Share screen with iPhone or Android smartphone.
- First of all open WhatsApp.
- After this start video call with the contact.
- During an ongoing call, tap the new “Screen Share” button located on the bottom ribbon.
- Now screen share display facility will be available on your device.
Share screen like this on Windows and PC
- Open WhatsApp update from Microsoft Store.
- After this make a personal or group video call.
- Then tap the “Screen Share” button.
- For screen sharing, tap the Chrome or File Explorer button.
- After this the screen will be shared.
Note – To share the screen of a personal computer or phone through WhatsApp, you must have the latest version of WhatsApp. Also, you will be able to share the screen during video calling only.
