Six Russians were injured in an accident with buses in the Dominican Republic, N Digital reports, citing the head of the fire department, Major Bruno Benitez.

An accident with four buses occurred on a road near Macau Beach in the east of the Dominican Republic. According to preliminary data, two buses first collided on a narrow section of the road after rain, Infobae reports.

One person died. Another 15 were injured, including six Russians who were traveling in the same tourist bus. The victims were taken to one of the hospitals in the city of Higuey.

Four Russians were hospitalized, they are in a stable condition, Anex Tour told the TourDom portal. Two others do not require hospital treatment. Russian tourists bought a tour through the Dominican Republic Pro agency, the tour operator specified. They will fly to Russia on January 19 and 20.
