The injured skier was in the company of another when the accident happened at 7pm on Friday evening.
The man was injured in a ravine and complained of chest pains, according to the police.
Mountain rescuers and doctors made their way to the scene. A rescue helicopter from Norway was called to the scene and winched the injured man up. He was then taken to hospital.
