Minister of Religion Md. Faridul Haque Khan said that the role of social organizations is very important in the positive change of society. Social service is good work from any point of view.
The Minister of Religion said these things during a discussion meeting and reception on the role of social organizations in building an ideal society at the IEDB conference room in Dhaka on Thursday (March 28) afternoon.
The Minister of Religion said that people have a responsibility to the Creator. Similarly, people have responsibilities towards family and society. All works done for human welfare are considered as worship or virtue in Islam. Social organizations can play an important role in creating positive minded people and society by creating ethics and social responsibility among people.
The religion minister also said that it is not possible for a single person to do many things. But many problems can be solved collectively. There is a need for social organization especially in solving social problems. Social organizations can play a special role in solving diseases like drug addiction, child marriage, militancy, women abuse, corruption, black market, hoarding. Apart from this, social organizations can play an important role in various fields including education, health, culture, poverty alleviation.
He said that social organizations have the opportunity to play a special role in maintaining peace, order, harmony and harmony in the society.
