“…It may be credible…” Say the authorities who are working on the case.

Although Seoul had speculated on the issue since October 8, Ukrainian media reported that Russia would be organizing a battalion of more than 3,000 North Korean soldiers to fight in the war due to a shortage of personnel.

The National Intelligence Service of South Korea will be working closely on the reports for verification taking into account that “they may be true.”

According to experts; If the existence of North Korean troops or civilian personnel involved in the Ukraine War is confirmed, it would mean a further escalation in the conflict and would create a greater atmosphere of international tension.

On the other hand, it is speculated that if the reports are true, South Korea would send military personnel to Ukraine to support the country in the war with Russia.
