On balance there are many Italian children who, for economic, social or cultural reasons, have had to give up sport, a fundamental element not only for aggregation and health, but also for ethical and moral growth.

ETKMENTE, THE SPOT

It is to help them not to have to say goodbye to such an important piece that ETKmente (www.etkmente.t) was born, the association that, with the patronage of CONI, aims to guarantee access to sports for a number of wider than boys between 6 and 15 years.

“The sport» – they say from the association – «It is not just physical activity, but also fun, comparison with others, respect for the rules, education and the tension to improve, as athletes and as people. Our project is to promote, through sports, the psycho-physical well-being of disadvantaged children and young people, adding a fundamental educational piece to their path, in order to make them aware adults tomorrow, bearers and propagators of healthy values and, indeed , ethical.»

To put this often underestimated and unknown problem in the spotlight, the association has launched its first television campaign which, as of today, is available on all ETKmente social channels and, soon, on the television networks that have sold for free. their spaces.

The campaign, entitled Sport, a right for all children and available at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHosSHOoGYg, has as its protagonists a group of young people who, during an athletics training, demonstrate with simple gestures the importance of ethical behavior. It is the moment of the competition, the young athletes start from the blocks, but after a few meters one of them stumbles and falls to the ground; for the others it would be easier to continue running and cross the finish line with one less opponent, but this is not what ethics says and so they stop, go back to their teammate in difficulty, help him and all together cross the finish line.

«Thanks to this commercial», conclude the founders of the association, «We not only hope to raise funds to finance the projects that ETKmente will start carrying out in September, but also to unite people interested in engaging in social responsibility activities around the association. Individuals will also be able to contribute by making their time and professional skills available, so as to help us achieve the goal of helping more and more young people.»
