There is time until November 17 to register for the tenth edition of Startup Weekend Bari, the competition dedicated to aspiring startuppers most loved in the area and organized in the Apulian capital by Sprint Lab. Startup Weekend an international format launched by Techstars that has revolutionized the life of millions of young talents all over the world, allowing them to realize their ideas thanks to access to the Startup Weekend and Techstars network. And the one starting in Bari promises to be an important edition that, after two years of pandemic, will finally take place in the presence and will be hosted from 19 to 21 November in the pavilion of the Congress Center of the Fiera del Levante in Bari. The young startuppers, students , undergraduates, freelancers, entrepreneurs and freelancers who decide to participate will have 54 hours to try their hand at an experience worthy of the Californian Silicon Valley and turn their ideas into startups in the heart of Bari.

The tenth edition of Startup Weekend Bari will be the most explosive ever! Over 20 coaches from all over Italy will accompany aspiring startuppers in the development of their ideas, up to the much-desired moment of the final which will take place on Sunday 21 November in front of CEOs, entrepreneurs, university professors and investors. Among the confirmed names are: Mariella Pappalepore, CFO of Planetek Italia; Nicol Andreula professor at IE Business School, Scientific Director of the Master in digital entrepreneurship at H-Farm, economist and strategic consultant; Giovanni De Caro, strategic and financial advisor and founder of Volano; Maurizio Alfieri co-founder of EdilPortale; Paolo Gagliardi Program Manager of the Youth Guarantee project and member of the Start Cup Management Board; Mariarita Costanza, CeO and co-founder of Everywhere Tew and Filippo Lanubile, full professor of the Computer Science Department of the University of Bari. Francesco Passantino, facilitator recognized by Techstars, will also be moderating the event this year. They have the task of choosing, among those that will be presented and developed, the three ideas to which the Startup Weekend Bari prizes will be awarded. The winners will be awarded prizes worth € 2,700, € 1,500 and € 850 respectively for first, second and third place, including: a regular membership lasting six months to Impact Hub Bari, three months of professional consultancy for the development of the startup , access to the Startup Challenge Camp pre-incubation path and consultancy for the formal establishment of the company for the former; a Regular membership lasting three months at Impact Hub Bari, three months of professional consultancy for the development of the startup and access to the Startup Challenge Camp pre-incubation path for the second; and a three-month Casual membership to Impact Hub Bari and access to the Startup Challenge Camp for the third place winner.
