Trichy
A state level gymnastics competition was held yesterday at a college gymnasium in Trichy. Organized by the Trichy District Amateur Gymnastics Association, the competition was inaugurated by the Association Secretary Madan Kennedy.
More than 250 players from various districts including Trichy, Villupuram, Kallakurichi participated in this. In this, competitions were held in categories including floor exercise, balance beam, horizontal bar, pommel horse, single pole, unbalanced beam, calan platform.
Medals, shields and certificates were awarded to the winners of the competition held separately for different age groups.
