A bus bomb has exploded in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police recruiting center in the western part of Kabul. Two people were killed and three others were injured in the blast.

In the next few minutes, another bomb exploded in the same area, injuring a woman.

IS militants have claimed responsibility for a series of twin bombings in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
