Statements to journalists, on the occasion of the presentation of her first poetry collection, were made by Sunny Baltzi, who, among other things, was asked to comment on the recent “attacks” on journalists by showbiz people.
Specifically, the well-known lyricist presented on Monday, 29/01, her first poetry collection entitled “Man-Eater”. “I am very happy, very excited, cannibal out of love rather, or out of fear. The title may seem harsh, I hope you don’t think I’m the cannibal. It’s a cannibalistic era,” she commented on in a quote aired on the “Breakfast@Star” show.

She was then asked about the “outbursts” against journalists, on the occasion of the recent related incident with Giorgos Dalaras, with her saying: “It’s nice when they tell us something and we understand it. I think that a very large part of the world is affected, which is exposed in the media. Some things have happened, the TV is very sterile, it is old. I mean, it’s trendy to be anorexic, they’re asking about anorexia, it’s trendy to be MeToo, I’m going to ask about MeToo. I think you have to be more imaginative and you, the new kids, have to change all that, change the television you received and we all hope that, because the journalist has a dynamic and you should be our strength, not be the people we feel we’re getting into.”
