The new album of the group ‘SUPER JUNIOR-D&E (Donghae & Eunhyuk)’ is unveiled.
According to their agency Odd Entertainment on the 26th, Super Junior-D&E will release their 5th mini album ‘606 (SIX ZERO SIX)’ on the music platform at 6 PM on this day.
A total of 6 songs are included, including the title song ‘GGB’, ranging from songs with free energy to songs that stimulate various emotions. In this new album, Donghae participated in writing lyrics and composing three songs. Eunhyuk contributed to the overall performance work.
Super Junior-D&E, who is making a comeback after about 2 years and 4 months, said, “This is our first album in a long time, so we did our best to prepare it with joy and excitement right from the beginning. Regarding the production process of this album, which is being released for the first time after moving to Odd Entertainment, he emphasized, “There is no part that I did not participate in from beginning to end.” In particular, through this album, “the title name was created with the motif of the sun and moon, which are the symbols of Super Junior-D&E, as fans call them. “We wanted to incorporate Super Junior-D&E’s day and night, our color and identity into this album,” he said.
Regarding the reason for pre-releasing the b-side song ‘ROSE’, they answered, “As I mainly make music that focuses on performance, I wanted to let many people hear emotional music that only contains guitar sounds and our voices.”
The members then made recommendations for tracks excluding the title song and pre-released songs. Donghae chose ‘Hang Over’, saying he wanted to create a performance that could show Super Junior-D&E’s chemistry and show it on stage at her concert. Eunhyuk recommended ‘Missing Pieces’, saying it is the style of song he enjoys listening to these days.
