Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original work “Look Back”, which was announced on the comic distribution site “Shonen Jump +” in July 2021 and recorded over 2.5 million views on the first day, has been made into a theatrical animation and will be released in theaters nationwide from June 28th. It was decided that it would be done.
“Look Back” vividly depicts two girls, Fujino and Kyomoto, who continue to create manga single-mindedly, while also depicting the events that will soon occur that will separate their fates with a strong sense of realism. This work has attracted the attention of many manga fans, including famous creators. Kiyotaka Oshiyama will serve as director, scriptwriter, and character designer for the anime adaptation of this work.
Along with the announcement of the theatrical anime adaptation, a teaser visual and special announcement showing the main character Fujino drawing the manga were also released. Please pay attention to the video that shows Fujino’s back as he continues to draw, just as the catchphrase says, “Keep drawing.”

This work was created in order to force myself to digest what was inside me that I couldn’t digest. I don’t know if I was able to draw it or not, but I am grateful that so many people were involved in turning this work into a movie.Director Oshiyama is a monster animator that most anime otakus don’t know about, so as an otaku, I’m looking forward to seeing this work on screen.
