Military sources told Tasnim Agency, “Iran has prepared at least 10 suitable scenarios to respond to possible action from Israel, which will be used if necessary.”
The sources said: “Tehran will respond seriously if Israel takes any military action against it.”
According to the agency, “Iran’s response may be more severe than any Israeli attack,” noting that “many countries have notified Tehran that they will not participate with Israel in its possible response.”
The sources confirmed that “any country that helps Israel in a possible action against Iran will have crossed the Iranian red line,” stressing that “Tehran’s response will not necessarily be a reciprocal response and at the level of the Israeli response, but it could be more severe and with different goals.”
The agency pointed out that “Israel’s area is very limited in terms of geography and infrastructure, and Iran’s response could cause it unprecedented problems.”
Last Tuesday, Iran carried out a major missile attack, which it said targeted 3 military bases, in response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the former head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas movement, in Tehran, and Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah.
