Hebrew support has been added to the Telegram messenger interface, platform founder Pavel Durov said in his Telegram channel.
“Hundreds of thousands of people register on Telegram from Israel and the Palestinian territories. In addition to Arabic, we have just added support for Hebrew in the Telegram user interface,” wrote He.
Durov noted that “in these difficult times,” everyone should have access to news and means of communication.
On October 7, the Palestinian group Hamas attacked Israel, its militants invaded populated areas along the contact line and captured a number of military facilities. They accused Israel of violating red lines at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. The Israeli army responded by launching an operation called “Iron Swords”; the country’s government announced that it had gone into a state of war.
