The statistical committee published the statistical data for the month of April. According to Pashinyan, the data are optimistic.
“In April of this year, compared to April of last year, we have an 8.8 percent increase in the economic activity index, and according to the data of four months, the increase in the economic activity index is 9.4 percent,” said the Prime Minister.
He mentioned that they set a task to ensure 7 percent economic growth during the year.
According to Pashinyan, according to the results of April 2022, there is a new absolute record of registered and paid salaries in Armenia: 664 thousand 736 jobs.
Compared to April of the previous year, the average salary increase was 21 thousand drams, and compared to April 2018, it was 60 thousand drams.
Pashinyan said that they spent about 28 billion drams less. If they did it in the first quarter, it would definitely not be 8.6 percent economic growth, but much more, 9.6 percent.
