In the early morning of the 6th, a terrible earthquake hit the city of Gaziantep, which is located on the border of Syria. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook the whole of Turkey. Earthquake shakes 10 provinces of Turkey Thousands of buildings that stood majestically up to the sky turned into piles of buildings in an instant.
This tragedy extends not only to Turkey but also to neighboring Syria. There too thousands of buildings were razed to the ground due to the impact of the earthquake. Tens of thousands of lives were lost in both countries due to this earthquake. Lakhs of people lost their homes and became refugees in their own country.
In this case, it has been reported that the number of victims of the terrible earthquake in Turkey and Syria has exceeded 47 thousand.
According to this, the number of people who have died due to the earthquake in Turkey has increased to 43,556, according to the country’s Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu.
Following this, the total death toll in Turkey and Syria has now increased to 47,244.
