The protagonist is the surgeon Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford), wrongly accused of the death of his wife Helen (Sela Ward) and sentenced to death in Chicago. While they are taking him to jail, the van in which he travels with other inmates has an accident. Richard manages to escape, returns to Chicago and searches for the real culprit in his wife’s murder, while federal agent Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) sets out on his trail and hunts him mercilessly. Spectacular finale with happy ending. “The Fugitive” a classic Hollywood product, a fast paced and compelling film that does not lack twists. However, the plot remains predictable and in the end the protagonist manages to prove his innocence. He excellent the performance of Tommy Lee Jones in the role of a stubborn and awake agent who earned him the Oscar. The film broke the box office: cost 44 million dollars, collected 368.
