The Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi handball team will play at six o’clock in the evening today, Sunday, a fateful match against the Al-Shorta Club team, champions of the last edition, in a confrontation for the first stage of the Iraqi Elite League 2023-2024.
Secretary of the Popular Mobilization Forces Sports Club, Abbas Al-Tamimi, told the (INA): “The team continued its preparations in full swing for this important and fateful match, as its result will determine the identity of the champion of the current stage.”
Al-Tamimi added, “The police team is one of the big and strong teams, full of stars and national team players, and is led by the able coach Zafer Sahib, so the match will not be easy,” noting that “the technical staff has prepared extensively for this match and has developed the appropriate plan to decide the match points.”
Al-Tamimi continued, “The Popular Mobilization Forces team will enter the match in high spirits, especially after the victory over Naft Al-Wasat Club in the previous round and before that, Al-Karkh Club, stressing the confidence of the technical and administrative staff in the team’s players to accomplish the mission and achieve the ultimate goal, which is the title of the current season.”
