The legendary presenter of the Vremya program Galina Zimenkova has died

First channel reported on its website about the death at the age of 82 of the legendary host of the “Time” and “Blue Lights” programs, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Galina Zimenkova. The obituary notes that she was loved by millions of Soviet viewers.

Galina Zimenkova devoted her entire life to television. She also worked in such programs as “Meetings near Moscow” and “Let there always be sunshine.” She was a partner of another legendary presenter, Igor Kirillov, who passed away in October 2021.
