The lion’s den is crumbling: one of its leaders betrayed himself

by time news

Palestinian sources reported here today (Monday) that Muhammad Tabanja, one of the leaders of the terrorist group Gov Aryot in Nablus, has turned himself in to the security mechanisms of the Palestinian Authority. Palestinian reports state that Tabanja published a post on his Facebook account in which he wrote: “We continue our war against the occupier… this is a warrior’s rest.” Tabanja is the one who remained in the leadership of the organization after other members were eliminated by Israel or surrendered to the mechanisms.

The “Lions’ Den” group, which consists of a group of young people from the refugee camps of Nablus, made headlines after it managed to carry out several attacks in recent months. In response, the security forces began a series of activities directed against the leaders of the organization, which actually disbanded the group. Some of the activists who were not killed by the IDF preferred to hand themselves over to the Palestinian security mechanisms, and as of now, Tabanja is the last of them.
