The Leader of Opposition suggested the formation of a committee to make a decision regarding the mills, while Anibal Kennedy questioned what would happen if the Panchalas were closed.

Sivashankar: “There are more educated youth in Puducherry. These factories should be opened to provide employment to them,” he said.

Chief Minister Rangasamy: “AFT, Swadeshi and Bharti panchals cannot be reopened. There is no chance. Everyone knows the nature of the mill. How much tax money are people spending? We have decided to pay dues to the employees, officers and workers there as per the labor law. Considering the current situation, the place is for tourism development projects. can be used.

Swadeshi, Bharati Mill land should be purchased from the National Panchal Corporation. We have given only the first installment. Leader of Opposition Siva: He said, “Government should take some decision regarding the mills. Two years are going to end since you came to power. I request you to set up a committee now and take a decision at least within the next year. We can take steps to run the sugar mill.”

Anibal Kennedy (DMK): “What if the Panchalas are closed?” he asked.
