Today, Saturday, Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi opened the Salah El-Din Specialized Center for Oncology, with a capacity of 50 beds.

A statement from the ministry, received by the (INA), stated that “Al-Hasnawi, in the presence of a member of the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee, Representative Miqdam Al-Jumaili, Representative Muhammad Al-Baldawi, a high-level ministerial delegation, and the Director General of Salah al-Din Health, Dr. Khaled Burhan, opened four new operating theaters in Balad General Hospital in Salah al-Din Governorate.” .

Al-Hasnawi stated that “opening new connections comes within the priorities of the government program and the Ministry of Health’s plan to develop the health sector in Salah al-Din Governorate.”

He explained, “Four new operating theaters were opened in Balad General Hospital, equipped with four anesthesia carts of German origin, pulmonary resuscitation devices, and a vein detector, and they were provided with the latest surgical machines and medical supplies.”

Al-Hasnawi added, “The opening included a recovery lounge next to operating theaters equipped with modern pulmonary resuscitation devices as well as a mobile x-ray machine for operations.”

The statement continued, “The Minister of Health also opened the Salah al-Din Specialized Center for Oncology Treatment, with a capacity of 50 beds and chairs for treatment and chemotherapy.”
