‘Sphatikam’ is all set to release in theaters again after 28 years in 4K Dolby Atmos technology. ‘Sphatikam’ will release in over 150 theaters in Kerala and over 500 theaters worldwide with 4K Dolby Atmos audio-visual splendor on February 9.
Now, director Bhadran has shared a picture and a note on Facebook that came to his mind during the remastering work of the film. Bhadran’s note is about Sphatikam’s music director SP Venkatesh.
‘It was a moment that filled my eyes too. I will always treasure this random camera shot. The heart sank for a moment as the movie, which has been watched so many times, was once again music for the 4K atmosphere through the tension-filled scenes. Those eyes overflowed. No words can express how much the great background score and songs helped the film. A horseman to keep from my heart forever for SP”, Bhadran wrote on Facebook.
Thilakan, Rajan P. Dev, Urvashi, Chippi, K.P.A.C. Lalitha, NF Varghese, Silk Smitha and many other stars are in the glass. The film, starring Tilakan as Chacko Mashai and Mohanlal as Thomachayan, gave many emotional moments and the warmth of love relationships to the Malayalees. Bhadran composed ‘Sphatikam’ in 1995.
