The moon of the month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri was seen in the sky of the country. As a result, the counting of Ramadan month is starting from Tuesday. Accordingly, March 12 will be the first fast. And next April 6 (Saturday) the night before the day will be celebrated.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee held on Monday (March 11) after Maghrib (6:30 PM) at the meeting room of the Islamic Foundation in Baitul Mukarram of the capital. Due to the sighting of the moon of the month of Ramadan, devout Muslims will start reading Salat Taraweeh after the Isha prayer on Monday night itself. In the meantime Taraweeh has started preparing for Namaz. To observe the first fast, they will eat the first Sahri on the last night.
