The Municipality of Rhodes in collaboration with Paradisio Primary School in the Rhodes Municipal Council Hall on Thursday 28/3/2024 presented the silent short film entitled “NIOSE” created by the school’s sixth grade students against school bullying – bullying, diversity and racism, with the help and support of Nikos Hatzikalimeris.

The President of the Municipal Council of Rhodes Kyriakos Kasapis gave commemorative praises to the contributors.
The announcement of the creators specifically states:

March 21, International Day Against Racism
On the occasion of these two very important dates and the phenomena they represent, the students of the Sixth grade of our school created the film “NIOSE”.
A silent short film, in which everyday incidents are presented, which happen in schools and not only.
Diversity, racism, school bullying are parameters of the film, in which the “weak”, according to social stereotypes, are the “strong” who help to solve difficult situations!
“Feel” is the title, as through the flow of the film the viewer “feels” both the perpetrators and the victims, but the most essential thing is how he “feels” during the healing and the coming of reconciliation.
We would like to thank the parents of the participating children, who allowed us to publicly display their children’s faces. Also, to emphasize that the children’s roles have no connection with reality!

Finally, we would like to thank the teacher of our school, Mrs. Evangelia Bozatzidis, who taught the children the words of the film in Sign Language.
The experience was unique and will remain etched in our hearts!
