The authorities of Kamchatka have extended the operation of the QR code system in the region, and are also introducing new restrictions. This was reported on the website of the government of the Kamchatka Territory.
“In Kamchatka, due to the difficult epidemiological situation with the spread of a new coronavirus infection, the operational headquarters decided to extend the QR code system for catering and cultural institutions,” the message says.

In addition, the authorities extended the ban on checking into hotels without documents confirming the passage of vaccinations or medical evacuation. For those who have a medical evacuation, it will be necessary to provide a negative test for COVID, made no more than 72 hours before check-in. Also, since November 7, the operation of children’s playrooms in shopping centers is prohibited.
The QR-code system was launched in Kamchatka on October 30 for catering, sports and culture establishments. From November 23, it will apply to intraregional air and bus transportation. The system will work until the end of November.
