The United States has informed Ukraine that it is rejecting the supply of “Abrams” tanks, as part of the military assistance in the war against Russia. The countries’ decision comes despite the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept these measures. However, the American Secretary of Defense called on the Western countries to increase their military support in Ukraine: “Russia is organizing and trying to re-equip itself. This is not the moment to slow down, the Ukrainian people are watching us.”
