The men’s doubles with the acronym FajRi was successful back to back champion in the oldest badminton tournament in the world.
In the 2024 All England final, Fajar/Rian defeated Malaysian representatives, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik with an identical score of 21-16, 21-16 at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, England, Sunday (17/3/2024) evening WIB.
After the match, the 2018 Asian Games silver winner said that one of the keys to his victory was playing calmly, so he could control the game.
“We are grateful to be able to win the match. We played enjoy and relax because this is the All England final, we just want to play freely,” said Fajar.
This result made Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto successfully defend the All England title.
In the previous edition, FajRi also reached the first podium after winning the Red and White derby against Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan.
