Director Atlee and his wife Priya, who posted the news of the baby on Twitter with happiness, have been showered with congratulations on social media.
Shankar is a great director in Tamil film industry. Atlee worked as his assistant director in films like Enthiran and Ndan. He made his debut as a director in Kollywood with Raja Rani, a blockbuster hit released in 2013. Subsequently, Atlee joined the list of star directors by giving a hat-trick hit with Vijay in Mersal, Bigil and Theri.
Then the jackpot opportunity that he got was the film Jawaan. Atlee has made his entry as a director in Hindi with this film. Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the lead role in the film, along with Nayanthara. Similarly, Vijay Sethupathi plays the villain and Yogi Babu plays the comic character. The shooting of the film is going on briskly. The film is slated to release in June.
