The Armed Forces of United States have deployed drones on Gaza Strip to collect information that allows the location of the hostages in the hands of Hamas, according to the US Department of Defense, which separates this type of activity from the strictly military offensive carried out on the ground by the Israeli Army.

A spokesman for the Pentagon, Pat Ryder, has affirmed that these are flights “in support of the hostage recovery work”, according to a statement sent to Europa Press. The flights, he explained, “began after the attacks of October 7”, referring to the attacks perpetrated by Hamas on Israeli soil.
