News agencies reported that Russia was ready for the deal. Ukraine has also made it clear that Russian withdrawal will be the main agenda. The two delegations arrived by helicopter. Earlier, it was reported that Indian time would start at 2.30 pm. Later the time was changed for security reasons. Russia has made it clear that it will not say in advance what it will say in the talks. Indications are that Russia will demand unconditional surrender and either abandon the NATO or EU membership requirement. But the world is watching to see if Ukraine will agree.
