He was undoubtedly one of the most talked about Israelis of 2022 – and not in a good way. Shimon Hayutor by its more familiar name, Simon Leviev, which was the focus of the Netflix film “The Tinder Scam”, which allegedly exposed a series of impersonation offenses continues to arouse interest almost a year after the film. The young man who, according to the film, deceived women by making them think he was a millionaire, and made them transfer large sums of money to his account, continued to claim his innocence after the exposure in the Netflix film and also in other interviews he gave, and who stood by him was the 23-year-old model and his partner, Kate Conlin. Now that the two have broken up the package, Conlin reveals all about the plan of Chaim Etgar.

Leviev, that’s how he introduced himself on the Tinder app, pretending to be the son of the billionaire Lev Leviev, and a tycoon with all that implies. Expensive cars, airplanes, clothes that cost as much as a house, everything to impress the girls of the opposite sex with whom he went on a persistent courtship campaign. In practice, he swindled those women out of hundreds of thousands of dollars and left them heartbroken and in a financial hole. While they were having sex, Conlin stated in Leviev’s defense that the very fact that he was not arrested indicates his innocence: “Where are all the authorities? Where are the police? If it’s so terrible, why is he here standing in front of me and we lead our daily lives, go to the beach, go to the supermarket? Son A man is sitting here in a circle.” Now it seems she has changed her mind.
On the Sunday after the news, Keshet 12 will broadcast the first part of “The Woman Who Brought Down the Tinder Scam” in which Conlin, who ran an affair with Levin for a year and a half, while the affair was exploding, “reveals for the first time the big secret that Simon is hiding.” In the promo revealed for her show, Etgar asks Conlin: “You were in a relationship with the most famous swindler in the world, when the whole affair blew up, what do you know that he doesn’t want you to tell?”, and she replies: “I know a lot, Chaim.” Later, a message is heard from Leviev in which he says: “You want war? Let’s go to war. Every action will have a reaction.” Etgar asks the model what she is afraid of and she replies: “That he will do something to me.”
