The National Civil Police (PNC) carried out the capture of multiple individuals wanted by justice in different parts of La Paz. Among those detained are people involved in serious crimes ranging from attempted homicide to disappearance of people and extortion.
One of those captured, identified as Juan Pablo Jiménez, was located and arrested in San Pedro Nonualco. Jiménez faces accusations of allegedly trying to take a person’s life, according to police sources.
Likewise, Eli Alexander Mendoza Vásquez and Nelson José Cruz Aguilar were arrested in San Rafael Obrajuelo. Both individuals must be held accountable before justice for their alleged participation in cases of disappearance of people.
On the other hand, Deysi Azucena Cornejo de Ramos was arrested for her alleged involvement in cases of aggravated extortion. According to police reports, Cornejo would have extorted a victim for several years in the El Tejar residential area, Tonacatepeque.
In an additional action in the San José Obrajito canton, Santiago Nonualco, the spouses Rember Antonio Valladares Portillo and Jocelyn Marilee Díaz de Valladares were arrested for alleged aggravated extortion.
