This is the name the director first thought of for Vijay’s Gun!

Murugadoss’ inspiration for the gun story was Liam Neeson’s movie Taken. In which they kidnap Liam Neeson’s daughter. The kidnapper will talk on the daughter’s phone. ‘I don’t have money, but I’ve trained enough to make you scream. If you don’t let go of my daughter, I will come looking for you wherever you are, I will find you, I will kill you.’ The smuggler at the opposite end is ‘Goodluck’. Murugadoss wrote the first part of Gun, thinking of this scene in Semasa as an interval. Vijay said ‘I’m waiting’ to change the dialogue spoken by Liam Neeson and say the villain. Goosebumps… This is the scene that fans experienced in theaters. It became one of the monthly interval blocks of Tamil cinema.
