This parliament is the most tragic and incompetent parliament in the history of independent Armenia. Vahe Hovhannisyan

The topic of early elections is becoming noticeably more active, and the internal political process will probably go to it.

The reality is that this parliament is the most tragic and incompetent parliament in the history of independent Armenia. During the activity of this parliament,

1. Almost a year of inhumane, fascist blockade of Artsakh, and during that time the parliament quietly worked with a different agenda.

2. Loss of Artsakh, and this parliament continued to work quietly both during that time and after that.

When the Azerbaijani army was stationed at the entrances of the Armenian settlements a week before the attack and it was clear that a disaster was going to happen, this parliament was working quietly. This is the fact. And the shame of the state is that this publishing house still continues to operate. Even if a thousand years pass in history, this parliament will remain in this description.

And the political forces represented in the National Assembly must answer this question before the present and future generations. It is obvious that it cannot be about equal responsibility. the controlling package of historical responsibility lies with the ruling power. But there is a problem of political and behavioral responsibility. I will immediately answer the counter-question “what could the opposition do?” Under the mentioned conditions, the most important mission of the opposition was to change the atmosphere in the parliament and the country, by every means, with every legal step, with superhuman activity. Throughout the blockade and after the loss of Artsakh, the parliament creates an illusion of normality in the country. Nothing is normal between us, but the joint constructive work of the opposition and the ruling power creates that illusion, as it did throughout the blockade.

At that stage, there was one chance to save Artsakh: to change the atmosphere in the country and show the world that the multilateral agreement on the depopulation of Artsakh is failing. We had 9 months for that, which was not short.

It turns out that after losing a large part of the homeland in the country of parliamentary rule, the parliament continues to work quietly? Sorry, this is the bottom of state degradation.

What else has to happen for reality to demand new elections and a new government?

There are several answers to the question, “Who generates early elections?”, and the main one is reality. The topic has other sub-questions, about which we will discuss next.
