The 73-year-old continues to think that this could become problematic as the relationship progresses. “And when you stand in front of the high school as a 70-year-old and take your son to the entrance exam, it’s rather frightening. You’re greeted as a grandpa.”
Thomas Gottschalk himself is in a relationship with Karina Mroß, who is twelve years his junior. He was previously married to Thea Gottschalk for more than 40 years. The two married in 1976 and had their first son together in 1982. In 1989 they adopted another son. However, the marriage failed and the separation was announced in 2019.
