After the delay in the release of Group 4 exam results, the candidates have been demanding the release of Group 4 exam results as soon as possible on social media. The hashtag #WeWantGroup4Results trended across India on Twitter. Related memes also went viral on the internet.

In this case, the selection board issued an important notification a few days ago. Out of which, Tamilnadu Public Service Commission conducted Group 4 Exam on 24.07.2022. As per the detailed press release issued by the Selection Board on 14.02.2023 regarding the results of this examination, the work related to the results of the examination is currently going on fast in the Selection Board. Also, for the kind information of the candidates, it has been mentioned that the results of this examination will be published by the end of this month.

In this situation, candidates have demanded that the results of Group 4 examination should be released soon and the number of vacancies should be increased.

In this regard, the Competitive Examiners’ Organization has written to the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Government Staff Selection Commission. In that letter, the examination for Group 4 posts was held after 3 years on 24th July 2022. The number of these posts is limited. They have released 7301 posts out of 15 thousand posts.

The number of Group 4 posts should be increased as the number of recent retirees is high and 15 thousand is more. Government work is life, and our request should be fulfilled, even after the corona epidemic period, we believe in this.

The exam was conducted every year in the previous regime. Even then the number of posts was filled by at least 10000 vacancies. It was 11800 in 2018 and 9500 in 2019. As the question paper is difficult and some wrong questions are included in the exam, those who study hard are also affected.

Considering this, the competitive candidates are earnestly requested to increase the 7,031 by 8,000 and release 15,000 posts.

Earlier it was reported that the number of vacancies will be increased by 2500. No concrete information about it has been given by the selection board. Now candidates are demanding to increase the number of vacancies to 15000. It is expected that if the number of posts is increased more than the current number of vacancies, the cut off marks may come down significantly.
